Happy Thursday, and happy almost Spring! Here’s what I’ve been loving this month:
100% Design South Africa
Just some of my favourite products from 100% Design SA 2017.
Dear Evan Hansen Soundtrack
After a friend suggested I listen to ‘Waving Through A Window’ – the soundtrack for the Broadway musical ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ has been on repeat. Beautifully written songs, that tell a story, and each song is incredibly sung. The show deals with mental illness, and yes, it is a musical, but a lot of the songs sound contemporary and the story is relatable to everyone – which I love. (Plus Evan Hansen is such a special character).
‘More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
I read ‘More Happy Than Not’ in one day, I just could not put it down. Adam Silvera shares the journey of, a 16-year old living in the Bronx, who is trying to discover who he should be, even if that means losing who he truly is. This book has become one of my all-time favourite books, and I recommend it to everyone – it is important and special, and just something we can all learn from. This unforgettable story of love and loss, teaches us that we can try everything (even brain surgery) to try change, but who we are, is exactly who we need to be!
Tea Tree Scrub from The Body Shop
I haven’t been using this product for very long, but I can already feel and see a difference in my face, so I know it’ll be sticking around. Tea tree oil is a fantastic product for problematic skin, and The Body Shop has a wide ‘Tea Tree’ range, from a night mask and face wash, to a toner and clay mask, all suitable for blemished skin and helps get rid of imperfections.
