With the Decorex Joburg 2017 giveaway coming to a close, I thought I'd share some of the features I'm excited to see at this years exhibition.

Decorex always has the most interesting food stands with everything from sugary, delicious fudge, to artisanal olives, as well the hottest peri-peri and dozens of cheeses. In addition to that, Decorex is introducing the 'Milk JUG Café', a children's eatery amongst the childrens decor stand. So I'd definitely go to the event hungry!

As mentioned in the competition post, I am a big fan of 100% Design South Africa. The curated exhibition is a variety of products from SA's leading designers, as well as international features, all catering for the residential, hospitality and commercial industries. Below are just a few of the local designers featured in this years exhibition.

And along with all of these exciting features, there is an art gallery showcasing local talent, a wine garden, as well as stands for every part of the home, from the kitchen and bathroom, to the garden and your outdoor spaces.

This is definitely a day out for the entire family, with something that everyone will love and appreciate. I also think it's important for visitors this year to go and see all the local designers and see how the industry is growing and just how freaking talented they all are! Design is life changing – and I hope people will see this. Check out @Decorex_SA and @100PercentDesignSA on Instagram for more.

You still have today and tomorrow to enter and possibly win two tickets to Decorex Joburg 2017. All details are on the giveaway blog post here.
